What makes your shoes “handmade”?
Each pair is crafted by skilled artisans using traditional techniques like hand-cutting, hand-stitching, even our Blake stitched and Goodyear welt shoes are hand sewn. We believe better value to our customer can be given with one shoe at a time, for a greater focus and details in quality.
What type of leather do you use?
We use full-grain or top-grain leather from reputable tanneries, known for durability, natural markings, and aging beautifully.
Sizing & Fit
How do I choose the right size?
We recommend using our Size Guide (with measurements in cm/inches) and measuring your feet at home. Handmade shoes may fit differently than mass-market brands.
Do your shoes run true to size?
Generally, yes — but some lasts (shoe shapes) may vary. We provide specific fit notes for each style (e.g., “runs narrow” or “order half size down”).
What if the shoes don’t fit?
We offer exchanges within 14–30 days (unworn, in original packaging). See our Return & Exchange Policy.
Can I get custom sizing or width options?
Yes, we offer wide/narrow options on select styles. For fully bespoke fittings, see our Custom Orders section. For Custom orders we take 30 to 35 days delivery time.
Care & Maintenance
How do I care for my leather shoes?
Use shoe trees, regular brushing, leather conditioner, and polish. Avoid excessive water/sun exposure. See our detailed Leather Care Guide.
Can I repair or resole my shoes?
Absolutely! Our Goodyear-welted construction allows multiple resoles. We offer a recrafting service — contact us for details.
How long do handmade leather shoes last?
With proper care, they can last for decades. The construction and high-quality materials ensure longevity beyond fast-fashion footwear.
Ordering & Shipping
How long does it take to receive my order?
Ready-to-ship items dispatch within 5–7 business days. Please add 3 to 4 days for the delivery time. Made-to-order shoes typically take 4–5 weeks. Delivery times vary by location.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping costs and delivery times are calculated at checkout.
Can I modify or cancel my order?
Contact us within 24 hours of ordering. Once production has started, changes may not be possible.
Custom & Made-to-Order
What is the difference between ready-to-wear and made-to-order?
Ready-to-wear is in stock. Made-to-order shoes are crafted after you order, allowing material/style customization and a more personalized fit.
How does the custom shoe process work?
It involves a consultation, foot measurements, material selection, and several fittings. Lead time is typically 8–12 weeks.
Can I request specific leather colors or details?
Yes, for custom orders. Contact us to discuss options.
Quality& Durability
Why are handmade shoes more expensive?
The cost reflects premium materials, skilled labor, time-intensive processes, and durable construction meant to last years — not just seasons.
Will the shoes stretch or mold to my feet?
Quality leather will gently mold to your foot shape over time. They may feel snug initially but will soften with wear.
Returns, Warranty & Repairs
What is your return policy?
We accept returns (unworn, in original condition) within 30 days for ready-to-wear items. Custom/made-to-order shoes are final sale unless defective.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes, we offer a 1-year warranty against manufacturing defects.
